A thespian gives a performance during the opening ceremony of a retrospective of artist Ali-Akbar Sadeqi at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art on January 28, 2018.

The retrospective, which has been organized to celebrate Sadeqi’s 80th birthday, will run through April 14. 

The exhibition is showcasing 200 paintings, sculptures, drawings and illustrations done by the artist. (Tehran Times /Melika Farshforush)
